Drag queen, female impersonator, cabaret artiste, unfit mother and whore are just some of the labels applied to Cheri Treiffel. she is more than that.....she is FABULOUS!
Conceived in a power cut during the winter of discontent (that's the 70`s to you!) Cheri knew from an early age that she was "SPECIAL".
When finally the lights came on she realised that a pretty face a trick pelvis and a ping pong ball was all she needed for success. she bought a ping pong ball and never looked back.
After winning an amateur showcase at the famous Newmarket cabaret club she was snapped up by an agent and spent the next few years honing her skills in the pubs, clubs, transport cafe`s and public toilets in and around the M25.
The glory years followed with regular appearances at the world famous london nightclub`s Heaven and the Hippodrome in Leicester Square, cruises with Cunard and P&O and tours of America and Japan for Hilton Hotel`s followed.
A glittering international career beckoned, fate, however had other ideas when she met a member of the french aristocracy and like princess grace of monaco she stepped out of the limelight for the man she loved.....what a "count".
After 2 children,the twins, Astrid and Gilberto, born on a sheep shearing station in Getitupme South Western Australia and 7 successful marriages (well they worked for Cheri), she found herself comfortable but bored.
6 months up the Khyber Pass on retreat in an Ashram did not help at all until one day her Swami the right Reverend Mustafa Jobbi md said to her "my child,the path to enlightenment is not for you,you must travel a different road, you will only find true fulfillment through the adoration of others,you must go back on the stage Cheri Treiffel and pick up your ping pong balls when you leave!"
Now based back in the UK, cheri has enjoyed a very successful residency including a sell out 6 week Christmas show at club destination in the heart of Scotland`s capital city Edinburgh.
She then moved on to headline in the opening show of Pricilla's Cabaret Club, Glasgow in conjunction with Clyde 1 fm and Xfm.
Other work since her return to the uk has included a P.A. at the Scottish Gay Wedding Show.

Charitable events include master of ceremony`s for a world aids day fundraiser on behalf of the Terrence Higgins Trust and cabaret for the Aplastic Anaemia Trust.
